Seneca County Museum to Host Public Open House to Share Its “Vision For the Future”

The Barnes-Deinzer Seneca County Museum Foundation invites the public to an open house introducing its next strategic objective,  “A Window Into the Past. A Vision for the Future.”

Visitors will have the opportunity to view renderings of a planned expansion, hear directly from leadership, and learn how they can  join this once-in-a-generation investment in preserving the rich history of Seneca County.

The campaign — now open to the community after the private leadership phase raised more than $1.2 million — will fund a 4,500-square-foot first-floor addition with a 1,400-square-foot second floor.  The expansion will create new, well-designed exhibit and programming spaces, and a much needed archival collections storage area.  This plan also provides not only full accessibility in the new addition but also assures accessibility throughout the first floor of the existing Museum.
